Responsibilities:
Perform thorough routine eye examinationsDiagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and farsightedness Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses and medicationsMaintain accurate medical files for all patientsPromote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniquesIdentify and assess eye defects and diseases such as diabetesRecord all diagnosis and treatment plans including transfers and therapeutic prescriptionsOptometrist Requirements:
Doctor of optometry (O.
D.
) degreeMust possess a state-issued license for O.
Dand optometryA minimum of 2 years experience as an OptometristOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders and conditionsCustomer service oriented with excellent analytical skillsSalary:
