Optometrist
We are searching for a talented and qualified optometrist to join our well established practiceAs an optometrist, you will be expected to use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care to our patientsYour duties will include conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses and contact lensesTo qualify for this role, you must be state-licensed and possess in-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatmentThe ideal candidate will be customer service oriented with excellent analytical and communication skillsOptometrist
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough routine eye examinationsDiagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and farsightedness Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses and medicationsMaintain accurate medical files for all patientsPromote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniquesIdentify and assess eye defects and diseases such as diabetesRecord all diagnosis and treatment plans including transfers and therapeutic prescriptionsOptometrist Requirements:
Doctor of optometry (O.
D.
) degreeMust possess a state-issued license for O.
Dand optometryA minimum of 2 years experience as an OptometristOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders and conditionsCustomer service oriented with excellent analytical skillsSalary:
$55 - $65 (an hour) depending on experince Employment Type:
